RE:RE:Getinge News Release
RE:RE:Getinge News Release Getinge will need to continue to sell the VP4 in N. America. Their Turkish made knock-off of a generic H2O2 LTS unit (Stericool) is not approved for use on this continent and is not FDA Approved for anything, thus not for sale in N. America. It is in no way comparable to the VP4 in its efficacy or efficiency. My question now is with whom is RR negotiating a new distribution agreement today? Cantel? BeliMed? Others? Having taken back control from Getinge's relatively incompetent management, I would be very surprised if a new deal is not inked with a new distributor (non-inventory carrying) by next week. Note Getinge has written off $18 M Canadian for their loss on this inventory, having now to sell what remains back to TSO3 for 33k a unit when they had already paid TSO3 for the units. This should leave TSO3 in a position to get this inventory in to the market at a reduced capital cost to the early adopters and this will create an installed base on which to build consumable revenues.
