Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Oct 17th is priced in and a formality

Oct 17th is priced in and a formalityI see people pumping October 17th as a date for SP appreciation. Get that out of your head, it is nothing more than a formality and an enactment of already made law. There is no risk alleviation that takes place on that day. Oct 17th ascension is the most priced in event to date and will not materially affect share price. Stop resting your hopes on it, you are setting yourself up for a let down. It also suggests you are looking short term, as such you should be comfortable with volatility, ie not complaining.

Aphria will do well long term. They are in several huge emerging markets in an industry in its infancy. They can produce high quality bud cheaply. A quality raw product and quality end products.

Volatility is the name of the game at the moment.
