Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Why? The overhead cranes allow for every one of the 700 000 square feet of Phase 4 to be utilized for growing space/production. It's all automated so humans are non essential in Phase 4 so therefore aisles, walking spaces etc aren't required and there is no virtually zero wasted space.

The 24 ft high ceilings of these state of the art, high tech greenhouses allow for the use of these cranes.

These automated cranes are something that the competition, with their old dilapitated 14 foot high greenhouses, can only dream about. Well sort of, because they have seen the error of their ways ALBEIT TOO LATE! and are all scrapping their old greenhouses and making deals in Leamington. They know that they can't compete on a grand scale with Aphria otherwise. FACT even WEED is negotiating in Leamington right now..say good bye to all of that crappy production space in BC WEED boys..

We’re currently installing our automated overhead crane systems in our Part 4, 750,000 sq. ft. greenhouse. These cranes will pick up empty tables from the harvest robots and bring them to our wash bays at which point they’ll be sanitized and thoroughly cleaned, and then staged for the transplanting robots as part of an on going cycle.

Wow so Aphria's proprietary advantage is a crane?  Did they buy it with the $25M loan from the credit union in downtown Winnipeg?

We need a crane!  Step right up, Vic we have one for $25M!
