New fighter jets; let's design and buid them here...The Bombardier C-serie is a galvanising project that makes us proud, and we need a new one.
Canada needs new fighter planes and Bombardier builds planes; why not design and build canadian fighter planes.
The timing is just right for all the obvious reasons; the money and the expertise is here.
It could be done in the 50's with the Avro-Arrow, so it can be done now. This new plane wouldn't need to be the best in the world, as long as it would be able to carry it's missions that's all that is asked .
Let us remember again that wathever planes we buy or build won't make us able to win the next world war by ourselves.
