Bayhorse in the old days.

Bayhorse in the old days.I remember last year sometime, I was reading on the intrnet about some old gent complaining about he and his brothers apparently being given the bums' rush from the site by the then owners the mine. I don't know the details but in my opinion the reason may have been that some people may have suspected the old boys to have been high grading the site. Again that is just my opinion. Now if you want to ruin a good orebody then just highgrade the thing so if that was what was happening then I too would show them the door.

As you probably all know, my memory is so bad I can't remember what I had for breakfast but I think the average "ounce count" the old boys were collecting was an average of 93 ounces per ton. Even at $5 an ounce, that would pay your rent. Today we scoop the run of mine stuff and even as we no longer just hand pick the shiny rocks and leave the rest, our recovery is amaizingly efficient. Clearly our grade and tonnage is improving...witness the 70+ foot high walls of mineralized material as we head towards the setting sun. Soon we should be trying to locate the end of the vein. Lets get some final numbers for this thing so we will finally know what we have. In the meantime, lets sell a few hundred  thousand ounces just to show the world what it looks like.
