Earnings

EarningsWith earnings around the corner and a earnings estimate of 56 cents. Should it not be expected that stars will have a large miss on earnings due to diluted shares being converted to common? The estimates were made before conversion was done, and this will have a negative drag on earnings per common share, however having no impact on per diluted share. I realize the per diluted share is what really matters but with “a miss on common share” that’s not actually a miss on per diluted share, does anyone fear a selloff may happen due to the way conversion will skew earnings per common share, and the average joe will overlook earnings per diluted.
