RE:I hope air canada goes bankrupt againBy the three stars of that last post with 180 reads, I assume that 50% gave it 5 stars and 50% gave it 1 star.  If you project that, I assume half the people who read the AC bull board would rather fly another airline than AC.  Becuase air travelers are finicky and it's clear that points drives consumer behaviour, losing Aeroplan remains the biggest risk to Air Canada.  Let's be honest, would you rather fly Porter or AC? How loyal are customers to Air Canada?  Some people like to fly AC, but most people don't care what plane they fly.  If Aimia doesn't go bankrupt, will consumers stay with Aeroplan or switch to AC because they can't imagine flying anything else? 

The market has the risks backwards between AC and Aimia.
