Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

kingbear great last two posts!  I'd put Canopy man on ignore but saw his posts in yours and man the guy is so funny with his views on CGC and APH, I just may un-ignore him.

Cheers,

kingbear wrote: Canopy man: your logic is so flawed, hilarious. 700 mill in earnings for an 9B market cap is a 12.8 price-to sales-ratio. The average price to sales ratio in the stock market is 1.

APH has a 48 PE right now on 10,000 KG of medical sales, WEED has no PE right now as they are losing 60 million per quarter and the highest cost per gram in the industry, yet you think WEED will have a better P/E? LMAO.

Any metric you look at shows WEED is grossly overvalued.
Canopyman wrote: I hold both stocks and I do see Aph having a better P/E but I also think it will always sit lower than WEED P/E. You see 100 mill in earnings with a 2 b market cap which seems right and Canopy will have 700 mill earnings and 8 b market cap The market has it figured out that's why the companies sit where they are now.If the sales dont meet than the market will adjust.
kingbear wrote: CanopyMan: APH does not have much priced in at all. APH has about 100 million revenue priced in while Canopy has nearly 2 billion, numbers don't lie.
Canopyman wrote: Weed has 2 years priced in and you dont think APH does give your head a shake.Weed is worth 3 times APH and I bet they sell 3x more than APH.
kingbear wrote: do you realize WEED has 2 years of rec financials priced in? Brutal decision, this is why most fail in the stock market. It's buy low sell high, not buy high sell low bro.
67pilot wrote: Hey my friends, I’ve been invested in aphria since day 1. Great company. I ended up really looking into canopy and it’s the wisest investment to get into. I bought this morning and I’m up 15k so far (doesn’t mean anything as prices go up and down). But long term, it will massacre any other lps. There also splitting 3:1 in a week or so which will attract investors to it, they have over 500,000 kg capacity and aphria has 255k. Sales will trump everything. Aphria will obviously improve sp but realistacly canopy can quadruple in price specially after the slip. It’s the largest out there and there’s no stopping it. Aurora is heavily diluted which is not attractive to me. What are your thoughts? Not bashing. Just want some thought on why people here are holding aphria instead of weed. We’re all here trying to make money. Thanks guys

maybe pilot is moving too quickly

his logic suggests that if he sells 3 aphria shares for 1 weed share that after the 3 or 1 split (if that occurs) he will still have the same number of shares and now vested in a better company after his own dd

risky yes but understandable

I would be very restless leading up to Aug 15 but it is his own decision and I respect that
