RE:RE:RE:NEWSThat is a valid point, however in his presentation yesterday in Boston, Afzal mentioned that they aren't ready to pick brands just yet (exept Floracal because flower has been around for a long time and they know it's been a winner year after year) since it is very difficult to determine who will come out on top in the future. They are focusing on analyzing the data as a distributor for now, but one thing they are confident in is the value of their own company, so why not take a safer bet and invest in themselves? Worst case, they can sell those stocks later on at higher value if they need capital, but it sounds like they won't be needing to raise more for a while, if ever again.
Benedictus wrote: it's definitely a vote of confidence for those of us who realize the deep value here although I am very surprised that at this early growth stage they would even consider buying back any shares. I had assumed they would continue utlizing all available capital to continue cherry picking additional premier brands for their portfolio. I would actually prefer they allocated all capital into additonal winning brands but as I said, it definitely speaks to the value here.
Best to all!
