RE:HIP: is it still a takeover target?

RE:HIP: is it still a takeover target?Actually HIP is a better bet for a takeover now than it was back when Cannamed was looking at them.  When CannaMed backed out of the deal they had to pay millions to HIP (forgive me, I can't recall the exact amt right now).  HIP also gained their fed approval for medical cannabis right afterwards.  In addition to that the banks started calling up HIP and offering fincancing which further enabled HIP to improve on their operations and pay down debt.

HIP now has agreements in place with AB and BC for the supply of cannabis and have cross investments in Inner Spirit (ISH) which is the only federally approved POT Franchise in Canada (I'm not promoting ISH here, do your DD on that one...)

Anyhow, YES, they should be considered a takeover target, the only question is who?  I doubt Aurora would revisit it and Canaopy isn't one for taking over smaller operations (they proclaimed they don't want to take on other companies problems as they have a superior approach..).  I haven't looked too closely at Green Organic, maybe them?

I'm not holding my breath on a take over but someone with deep enough pockets would certainly have to consider HIP due to their fincancial position and stock price.
