RE:Kukielski Bloomberg phone interview today...On the surface this does not seem the right thing to have said as the CEO and we have no idea what was included in the press release vs. what was not included and the context.
I'd have to read every single report and make up my own mind as to whether that average even makes sense because I'm sure there are some low ball estimates. CIBC last I saw was at CAD $6.50.
You tally the parts and CAD $6.50 is still a joke.
These estimates also most likely value NSU as a
going concern as opposed to
buyout situation. We have no reason to sellout without a
PREMIUM. NSU does not need to be bought out and contrary to what someone may have mentioned here financing will not be a problem in the least...not for one of the best finds in decades in one of the best political jurisdictions.
Why would or should we sellout at anything under CAD $6 when there is a high probability that we will trade upwards and possibly north of CAD $10 within 2-3 years (I actually put it at CAD $12 at least...put a 10 multiple on $500 million cash flow and you actually get over that and I actually cranked up the number of shares by 40 million and that's just for Timok UPPER ZONE...does not include anything for lower zone or Bisha or exploration)...BELIEVE IT.
How does that make any sense? It's exactly what I've been thinking and it's exactly what NSU said in its rejection of Lundin's offer.
So, I'm still on record. Minimum CAD $6.50 is the number and I'd still want shares in the acquiring company because we would be leaving a shitload on the table. That's why I see it as almost impossible that a bid does not come in this area because we still leave a sheet tonne on the table IMO.
And Q3 drill results still on deck as well.

This is from the article: "Kukielski declined to say what he thinks the company is worth, saying its value would crystallize over the course of the strategic review. Maybe its worthwhile my pointing out to you that the consensus target price of analysts for Nevsun is C$5.88 a share, he said." So we have to think C$5.50 to C$6.00 could get this done....
