He sounds more like a frustrated long than a short to me.

Those of us that have been in this sector for a long time know that during doldrums, good PM stocks have a hard time getting to full valuation. If gold can get perky at some point this will head towards full valuation, but until then it will be in fits and starts IMHO. It is what it is.
