Well, it depends on your definition of continents, as there is no official one-and-only, actually. Anything between five and eight continents is a working definition. If you take five, then the "continent of America" is a correct definition and comprises North Amercia and South America. No need for Mexicans or Canadians to be pissed off ;)
If it's important for you to separate North and South America, this is fine for me, too, of course. But we're drifting away from the real topic here ... which maybe is good, considering the large amount of crazy nonsense that was posted on this board during the past 3 months by even more crazy users ...
