RE:S&M...EdMy bad, it is not 14 but 12. It is quite normal such a small size for Ph 2A. As I explained in another post, if you observed a p-value in a small size trial, you would normally expect a even improved p-value (i.e., smaller) in a large trial.
"Twelve patients with OA of the knee were treated once daily for 10 days with ATB-346 at a dose of 250 mg.
I didn't see where it says there were more at the beginning unless your talking about Ph 1, when a few patient with pre-existing conditions with liver problem lies before entering the trial.
