Here are some key notes I took below from the Queen's Park meeting. They are not exact quotes. I can't type that fast. :) Home delivery available. Over longer term, Ontario will move toward enabling private retail of cannabis. Gov will not be in business of running physical cannabis stores. Instead, we will work with private sector businesses.. We want to be clear that private retail stores will not be open on Oct 17th. April 1st, 2019, if passed, private retail stores model launch. The OCS will continue to serve as the wholesaler to private retailers. In order to provide consumer confidence, we are proposing to introduce and official ontario cannabis retail ?seal? This will help consumers to indentify legitimate retailers where federally quality assured products can be found. Consumers can look to this seal to know they are buying a legal product. Municipal opt-out of private cannabis retail, should they choose and 40 mill dollars to municipalities for enforcement, education...etc.. if municipalities opt-in on cannabis retail.
Oct 17th we will meet federally regulated date. We will be open for online sales. We will be ready on April 1st, to launch the private model. We will be ready with a robust system to handle all the orders that we can online, and be ready April 1st to open a retail system. We want to take the time to consult with municipalities. They're going to start next week.
70% of frequent users requested private retail.

I don't think that the government should sink us too far into OCS bricks and mortar. Here are the locations and information listed previously. Ontario Cannabis Store Locations Identified
The OCS has identified the following four locations for initial cannabis retail stores:
- 304 Stone Road West, Guelph
- 770 Gardiners Road, Kingston
- 2480 Gerrard Street East, Toronto
- 570 Harbour Expressway, Thunder Bay
OCS retail stores are being designed with a lobby area, before individuals would enter the main retail store.
The main retail space will include information about available products including accessories. There will be a focus on responsible use and product education.
As previously announced, Shopify will supply the technology to power screens throughout the stores to give consumers product and health information, following federal guidelines, to help inform their shopping decisions.
In addition to the retail store network, the OCS will also provide an ecommerce option to provide Ontarians age 19 and over with a safe and secure way to legally purchase cannabis for home delivery.
Original Reference: OCS link It's possible Supreme full build-out may roll over into 2019. There was a news release that stated early 2019, which came out after the 2018 build-out completion NR. All good, either way, IMO. Cash in hand and increasing revenues in the near term allows for the freedom to watch and react on markets as they evolve. Cheers!
