MacLoud1

MacLoud1I am technologically challenged.  Help me out.   Your the big shareholder.  It only helps your cause in the longrun.

Anglo American has an annual report and a press release for year end 2017.   Take page10 of the Press Release.   "Operations Review for the year end 31 December 2017.   They break out production and average prices for each Country.

Someone,  please publish that table here on Stockhouse if MacLour1 does notwant to do it.

Production in Canada increase to 3.757M carats from 1,031M carats  2017vs. 2016 year.
About ALL of that production increase is due to GK mine opening.  The other production is the Victor mine.

On page 198 of the2017 Anglo American AnnualReport they give more exact numbers for 2016 and 2017 production.   Production Statistics.    For all of Canada SnapLake was effectively Zero in both year.        Victor was 596K carats in 2016,   and 724K carats in 2017.      GK was 432K carats in pre-commercial production in 2016,   and 3.033M carats production in 2017,  on a 51% basis.

Back to page 10 of the Operations Reviewfrom AngloAmerican   2016 avg sales price per carat is $272 US.  For 2017 it is $235US.     Unit costs is $212 US in 2016 and $57US in 2017.   EBITDA goes from $79MUS in 2016 to$205M US.

3M  carats mined from  GK in 2017 verses 432K  in 2016.   Yet average prices for DeBeers only declines from $271US to $235US over millions carats of diamonds contributed now by GK over and above the Victor mine output.

MPVD reported total sales of 238M CAN for 2017, of which 68M CAN was capitalized as pre-commercial production and $170M (CAN) was reported as sales(US$134M) in the financial statements. (I believe thatbeganin 3Q 2017 was the first full Q of sales and profits).

Average Full year realization of $US70 per carat.   (From the  MPVD March 26,  2018 Press Release  Page 1.)

Does anyone doubt now why the CEO and CFO both resigned 1H 2017.

"AH,  Houston,  I believe we have a problem."
