Different factors at play all combined
#1 is sheep mentality, people probably saw the online retail only news and started the momentum downwards, MM's capitalize on it and drive down further
#2 2.5m in dilution this morning compounded problem
#3 Shorters encouraged to short more
Although i have to ask why you guys think shorting is responsible for so many dips on this stock. It is 16th rank on largest short positions. I don't think it affects it the way you all think it does. Not a professional though so if someone can explain the mathematics to me that'd be great.
I do have an opinion about the branding though. The trend lately seems to be the public consumers of beer are anti corporation, anti monopoly, as far as i'm concerned this will only amplify for cannabis users. In fact Molsons sales are declining precisely due to craft breweries popping up everywhere. This could be bad for us. Our motto is the old world notion of domination. Public doesn't seem to like that anymore because they don't like "big bad corporations". That could be working against us bigtime if consumers start to see us as a giant rather than just a producer. Maybe the better deal is to create the illusion of "craft" cannabis ala craft beer.
I say if the trend is there for beer then cannabis will only start this way as well.
