On July 6th HBC confirmed that althoughHBC does not generally comment publicly on market speculation or rumors, in light of recent media reports, HBC believes it is prudent to advise stakeholders that it is in discussions with SIGNA Holding GmbH and has signed a non-binding letter of intent with respect to the exploration of a potential joint venture.***** Since 6 weeks have elapsed since that press release I think it's safe to assume the SIGNA deal is dead and once again shareholders are left holding stock in a company that doesn't intend to do anything for shareholders value.
