How about this scenario that is a manipulation game plan? A large shareholder wants to take over a company;  company fights; shareholder gets down and dirty and tries to discredit management to drive price down which further discredits management; and the real dirty part.....shareholders put up very big sell orders under the market while a friendly fund puts in a matching buy order....repeat....big down skies.  Should attract the regulators but maybe this happens to often? If this is happening....can we find out through regulator investigation based on a slew of our requests as all trades are discoverable?
