RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Bye bye shorts
RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Bye bye shortsYUP one can trade warrants the same way as one can trade shares. Look at the WT warrants as an example. They are dead in the water because the company issued a new and better warrant. In terms of which is a better deal I would go with WT.A.
So now let us take a step backwards and ask how are you defining a shorter ? How "long" does one need to be holding stock or warrants in order to qualify for your personally designated "non shorter" term ? You are simply using semantics to try to prove a point which doesn't actually have any true resolution.
I have been holding HIP long. How about you ? I understand the concept of a warrant very well so no need to explain anything to me. Also the math you present and are so proud of is at best grade 5 high school level so don't get too excited about your skills. Unless you are in the 4th grade, in which case, nice work.
There is no guarantee that HIP SP will come anywhere near $3 and even if it did I would think that there would be a lot less trading of warrants and more conversion at this point. Who is going to pay $2 for a warrant which requires an additional $1 to buy a share ? That would be a major risk in my opinion. Not to mention that as warrants are exercised dilution becomes a factor which lowers SP.
If you are going to make a case against "shorters" in the same post as trying to flog warrants then I have to request that you define the terms and conditions of what you actually mean when you use the term "shorter". I currently hold WT.A and do so with a very long term perspective. I will use these warrants according to my own personal plan. This is what I imagine all people are doing. Why is your personal plan so pure and lacking in "shortness" ?
I call BS on you.
