Lithium Price Falling FastThe price per tonne of 99.5% lithium carbonate in China is now 90,000-95,000 yuan down from 180,000 yuan in December.
That's a 50% price drop in 8 months for the primary commodity used in making batteries.
Lithium price was down 4.6% last week alone.
Lithium customers still have healthy stockpiles of lithium which means demand is not as strong as some thought last year.
This will remain a significant headwind for juniors in the lithium space until prices stabilize.
