I concede, The Nuu deal was poorly communicated with the options fiasco for management and you were right to call it out. I'm glad Vic realizes how bad of a perception it had on the company and share price. Luckily now he has a team now too over view any future transaction and transparency in the future. Hoping they announce this fall a beverage Jv, partnership or equity investment too drown out the negativity and give us a new lease at life, cause the operations and execution of the expansions and automative ops is really undervalued. I'm betting Vic has been saving up alot of Nrs for this fall to start putting us back in the retail investor map.
With the reload of the German process, yes Aphria overpaid for the NUU assets. In time, the purchase may prove well worth it. But the market did punish Aphria in the short term.
Constellation’s $5 billion investment in WEED is absolutely fantastic for Canopy and the market is rewarding them. But the market penalized Constellation’s share price because they overpaid. Constellation views it as short term pain for long term gain. This decision was made off of 5/10 years plans, not Quarter to Quarter jockeying.
In the short term Aphria overpaid for NUU assets. But I am glad Aphria has them! Because I am mostly a long, I see the long term potential and being in the game right now is more important than reacting to short term market sentiment!
Constellation is playing the long game with WEED and it is an International game!
In less than a year Aphria will be wildly profitable with domestic operations! And they are in the International game! The right partner and they may become a heavyweight! But they are participants in the International game for long term gain! And the International game will play for decades to come!
Thanks Prof! GoBlue spoils everyone crunching numbers in a timely fashion. And it is much appreciated! I still like to bury my nose into financials, M & A, and available pictures and images.
Think things through, big picture analysis, vet the players!
This sector is a journey into the unknown as it is always morphing!

You’ll certainly learn more spreading fins yourself. You learn how the pieces fit together. And with multiple Q’s spread... TRENDS.
So much of the blather on these boards are from feelings based investors investors who do not understand fins. I really enjoy the few that learn and apply.
