RE:Any reason for the selling @ .05 ?Let's say you have shares, you would sell at 5 cents and buy the deal at 5 cents. That way, you get the warrants for free. Same logic for those selling at 4.5 cents, they get the warrants for 1 cent. So expect a lot of pressure at 4 to 5 cents range. Once that clears, the stock could move significantly higher.
This deal was hyper dilutive. It got good demand from insiders and from the largest shareholder of the corporation. The over allotment was filled as well. The company has $2m more in cash and would probably raise again, but at a higher price. There have been few contract announcements lately, and in my opinion, we should see some newsflow shortly. Starting with quarterly results.
I think there will be some good momentum on the news front, perhaps some contract renewals and/or new customer announcement, combined with results that look good (with gross margin expanding significantly). Any kind of guidance would be gravy and likely jumpstart the stock.
It's impossible to know if the private equity holder Loeb and the insiders churned their shares or simply increased their positions, but even if they sold and bought back, I don't think they would have simply gone through that trouble to get warrants at 8 cents strike. They must be confident about the business prospects and I could see a consequent move by the stock in the 10-15 cents range.
