I wish I had the inclination to get started on this when I was 19! I'm 31 and just getting into it. I have a tiny position as well, but every dollar I make is a dollar I didn't have before. Buy when you can, don't try to day trade, gain a bit of experience and by the time you have a family or want to buy a house you'll have a leg up. (I'm assuming at 19 you aren't there yet). Lots of people never invest so youre already ahead.
