No Retail Permit for LivWell in Calgary Yet

No Retail Permit for LivWell in Calgary Yet
Wonder why LivWell/51st hasn't announced whether or not they recieved a retail store permit in Calgary yet. This is very material information, would expect news by now if they did recieve one as a public company. My guess is that 51st (LivWell) has not recieved a permit yet. 57 applications left to review, 50% get refused, so I estimate 28 or so more will be approved. If LivWell/51st, a Calgary based company can't even get a license in their own backyard it doesn't bode well for their business plan.

51st also got skunked in Sask, and I don't see them on the list for a permit in Edmonton. Makes me really question their plan to be a western Canadian retailer. Pretty tough to have a retail presence without a permit.

"The City of Calgary says there are 258 active cannabis store development permits and that 201 decisions have been made.

The city has approved 102 applications, refused 99 and 24 appeals have been filed."
