No Retail Permit for LivWell in Calgary Yet Wonder why LivWell/51st hasn't announced whether or not they recieved a retail store permit in Calgary yet. This is very material information, would expect news by now if they did recieve one as a public company. My guess is that 51st (LivWell) has not recieved a permit yet. 57 applications left to review, 50% get refused, so I estimate 28 or so more will be approved. If LivWell/51st, a Calgary based company can't even get a license in their own backyard it doesn't bode well for their business plan.
51st also got skunked in Sask, and I don't see them on the list for a permit in Edmonton. Makes me really question their plan to be a western Canadian retailer. Pretty tough to have a retail presence without a permit.
