RE:RE:RE:1.6mm last monthTGIF markets well, however, they are far too late on the national stage to have a viable opportunity at being a significant multi-state player.
Any change in the current regulatory framework, whether it be the anticipated issuance of additional licenses in NV (state level) or a federal move towards legalization - either scenario diminishes current TGIF market share and points to reduced profitability and greater competition.
If you're looking for a US positioned play that has longevity and a chance at being the CGC, ACB or APH of the US market, it's more than likely going to come from one of the following - CRZ, IAN, MPX, GTI, TLRY, LHS, MMEN, Acreage... Again - understand the difference between playing the market and long-term viability. TGIF is great for the former - liquid and predictable. On the national stage - there's really no chance for them. Best case scenario will be an acquisition, unfortunately, their public listing will make them exorbitantly more costly that the dozens of privately held companies in the same space with similar revenue capabilities and market footprint.
