Top 3 Medical Benefits VS Recreational Disadvantages

Top 3 Medical Benefits VS Recreational DisadvantagesFirst of all, allow me to apologize for my complete disembarked from this sess pool of degenerate bashers as of lately. Life is busy, and the negativity from this board can be consuming to anyone reading some of the ridiculous non-sensible garbage spewed out on here. For those keeping it real in the field, thank you for your support.

I'm sure by now many on here have pointed out the various benefits of being a medical user over recreational, but I honestly feel the general population has absolutely no idea what is in store for them if they choose to be strictly a recreational user.

1)   The inconvenience of travel costs, along with getting the proper product.

My wife is a medical patient, who, for about a year and a half before NamasteMD being available, was forced to travel 2 hours out of her way every 6 months to continue her prescription from her previous Dr. This alone was frustrating for myself, as over time it costed quite a bit with gas and the wear & tear on our vehicles. She has gone through various different producers with each visit over this period of time, trying out new products to see what was best for her.  She prefers CBD strains for her Fibromayalgia, so finding the perfect strain for herself tends to be a mission in itself, which is exactly one of the prime reasons that I strongly believe the Uppy app will significantly enhance every users experience in choosing exactly what they are searching for.  The Canadian populous is as spread out far and wide as much as the size of the entire country is, with rural communities being scattered everywhere.  So many civilians will benefit from the convenience of NamasteMD, with being granted patient access from the comfort of their own home, because let's face it, the majority of people would rather relax at home than go out in public, after working a 40-50 hour work week!

2)  Reduction in costs

Regarding my wife's condition, a few LP's have granted her a 15% reduction in cost for each order with the compassionate pricing being applied.  This was another major advantage to being a medical patient, however there are a few others I would like to touch base on.   As marijuana continues to be viewed more positively, from a more medical perspective through the progression of research and development, I am certain that there will also be an increase in coverage by benefit providers.  The link below provides the information required to obtain Cannabis Coverage, along with other links to the news of various companies that have already made the transition toward medical coverage.  Loblaws, Sun Life, NexgenRx, CannTrust, and a few others to name are already on board.  The bottom line is- why pay more than what you could be!?   Also, you can claim medical marijuana on your tax return!

3)  Legal Repression

For me, this is the real kicker here. People are under the assumption that with the legalization of cannabis, they will be granted more rights as a recreational toker, and will be able to light up anywhere they please. The reality of the situation however could not be any further from that pipe dream, and unfortunately will become yet another cash crop for police to antagonize our society with. Of course the penalties will vary from province to province, but ultimately, as a medical user you are permitted to travel up to a specific limit with your medicine, whereas being an average blow Joe rec user you are not, and will be fined for being under the influence if caught driving and likely lose your license!  In Ontario, for example, if caught getting spliffted in public, your first offence could bring charges up to $1000, and up to $5000 after that.  That is absolutely ludicrous, but will benefit Namaste's medical patients vastly, as they are allowed to blaze in public without the fear of being persecuted for using their medicine.  Here in Alberta, the rules and stipulations may be lessened, but I am sure that the crackdown on drivers under the influence, and under age users will only increase as time goes on, since that is easily the #1 concern of the public.   The police will likely view users as criminals since it's in their blood, but medical users completely bypass that mentality.
