See comments by Mark Campbell AAN CEO about mining taxes in Egypt. Lots of change happening there now, but he says "To be honest with you, it’s not a killer..." So much to that statement.
CEO of junior mining companies have to say something like that (We will make it work!) and it's up to us to discount their statements. I've discussed this with a few people and they heavily discount Mark's optimism that Aton could make production work under their existing taxes. But Centamin made it work under similar arrangement -- it can be done.
Anyone hear anything in the interview about economics of Hamama?
