Release the exact same news to a group of people......and you sure get a wide range of interpretations. Somebody is selling into today's news. Thank you.
Serena now has 4 pretty spectacular holes. I gather they have substantial separation, but it isn't clear.
Pretty sure they drilled more than the two holes reported in Serena during the past 3 1/2 months. Who cares?
Management has repeatedly stressed they are wildcat drilling,
"Swinging for the fences." Of course there are some strike outs. Who cares?
Based on how the discussion is focused on Avocado, I think I understand why management didn't tell us about other Serena holes. I assume there were some that lacked life changing news value. Who cares?
“This is an outstanding result for several reasons,” said Ed Cope, NuLegacy director (former VP of Exploration-North America at Barrick Gold), - “It signals that the Serena zone is wide open to the west, towards the geophysically well-defined Western Slope anomaly that has minimal previous drilling.
- Secondly, the grade is excellent, and reminiscent of the grades Barrick found while drilling Goldrush several years ago.
- And finally, it is proving the concept that following newly recognized “mineralizing” low angle fault structures to the west to where they intercept the best stratigraphic host rocks is working – and we will continue to refine this work in the fall.”
You only need one good result, periodically. We've gotten that 4 times at Serena. What do people expect? Let's put Avocado on the back burner for a couple years.
