RE:New CFO, smart move!Is impresive how fast they move with the replacement. They keep responsible the right people and replace them when they screw up ASAP - that tells a lot.
Firing the person is recognizing that you screw up too when you hired him in the first place and that is again something to appreciate about them.
You could of hide that stupid action and try to fix it on the go with not too much noise and not recognize that you hire the wrong guy for the job but they didn't - so good move, very much appreciated.
