RE:The Star: Aeroplan flight bookings not always dreamy

RE:The Star: Aeroplan flight bookings not always dreamyNothing new here that smart travelers don't already know. I alway check the Star Alliance partners prices on an AC route. I recently booked an AC flight to Italy through Lufthansa and saved $400 off the AC price. Same plane!

If you're investing on the basis of this Aimia 2.0 fantasy that you've created then keep on buying. Short sellers love that kind of enthusiam built on smoke and mirrors. Although given what you must have been smoking, pot stocks would seem to be a better place for the money. Oneworld most certainly was only interested in the points/members although never at the type of $ level of AC. What would be the upside now in doing anything with Aimia? All of the Oneworld partners have their own loyalty programs with co-operative point gathering/redemption privileges. They don't need Aimia now that the existing points are gone
