RE:Ceasars write up Nice find, Highlander.
Looking at the grid of the 4 Serena holes reported this year and last, found in Caesar's write up, or the last press release, I can't help but notice the highest grades of the latest drill core was substantially deeper than the others.
The highest grade portion of the latest hole is at roughly twice the depth of the other three. It raises a lot of questions to ponder about drill depths, previous holes, and whether you begin mining with heap leaching lower grades near surface, eventually mining underground.
It makes you curious how deep previous drilling was, although I don't think it is that simple.
Their "hit ratio" appears much higher this year, finding higher grades, while drilling fewer holes. I do believe their reinterpretation has a great deal to do with it.
The highest grade in the latest hole is from around 284 meters to 292 meters.
In the other three holes, the high grades were found at more like 130 meters to 180 meters.
If you are curious, you may find the quarterly report I linked yesterday good reading - MD & A
