the third last paragraph sheds light on the main force behind the  Alrosa change in delivery and sales.

they are worried about US sanctions and are trying to shift sales away from US bank settlements by going into Ruble settlements.

i suspect that Clara might be precluded from dealing with Alrosa given the sanctions issues and the importance of accessing the US market for sales. not sure on this last point but dealing with Russian companies is in no doubt becoming a more closed door option for Western countries as each day passes.
