Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Duediligence33 wrote: Listen to both Atheena and The Prof and many others to HOLD It is very tempting to take the green especially when next day there is a pullback and you say - Damn I could have sold and bought in same position with extra cash. You can win some and lose some but overall staying in for the BIG run wins out with less stress and worry. For example I told a doctor friend last year to buy 5,000 shares of Canopy at $ 10. He was busy with work and play and NEVER traded or cared the price. No stress by doing nothing and now his $ 50,000 buy is worth $ 300,000. He made a quarter million with NO trades. He tells me in his RRSP it can wait to $ 100. Next year Aprhria could be $ 50 with the JV and 240,000 kg annial production. Easy to hold or worry to trade.

IMHO, whoever trying to compete with Constellation Brands (for grabbing market share at this stage) will have to invest a comparable amount (at least close to $5B that Constellation Brands was willing to).

Think about it .... $5B is a lot of money, and it's already more than the current market capital value for APH. :-)
