Smith Group's Part 2 of 3 Part Series on Sharc Can' t make the artice fit here use the link at the bottom ... a couple points of order and a comment
1) New acronym & name coined for the tech: 'S.W.E.E.' (Sanitary Wastewater Energy Exchange)...at least it's new on me never heard this one before
2)The article mentions that the Southeast False Creek Energy Center is "not a SHARC installation" and while that was true on the outset back in 2010 and in 2014 when Smith Group visited Vancouver touring several site's for their research, in early 2017, 2 SHARC 880's were installed in tandem at this site and so now it 'is a SHARC installation' ..just to save confusion
3)Smith Group repeatedly compares Sharc with the Huber system (the only other in the world that is similar) and does again in this article ..very gratifying they have determined that the SHARC is the 'best version of this technology'
In this follow-up, we elaborate on the research we did to determine the best version of this technology for our client, DC Water, and then present a cost analysis and comparison to establish what we consider to be a rock-solid business case for the adoption of what’s known by the catchy name of Sanitary Wastewater Energy Exchange (SWEE) technology.
