RE:Question?
FYI - Eve & Co is a female-focused cannabis brand in the Canadian market. Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Natural MedCo Ltd., it is a licensed producer and seller of dried cannabis and cannabis plants in Canada. It was actually the 34th cannabis company to get a license in Canada. Today theres more than 100. So its not new to the scene. Now there area few things I like about this operation . 1.) Eve & Co is a female-run operation. I dont mention this to be politically-correct, by the way. I mention it because of the few female-run operations Ive seen in this space, all are run like well-oiled, profitable machines. My favorite example of this is Kikoko Tea, which is a women-run, cannabis-infused tea company that caters to women. Within the past two years, Kikoko has gone from a tiny little start-up to one of the most successful edibles brands in California. Eve & Co, like Kikoko is catering to female cannabis consumers with plans to soon offer a variety of cannabis-based cosmetics, creams and lotions designed specifically for women. As far as Im concerned, the female market is one of the most lucrative markets in the cannabis space, yet I find that so many male-run cannabis companies completely ignore it, or simply havent yet figured out that if they hire a few women in some C-suite positions, they could actually make a killing. They ignore this indisputable reality at their own peril. 2.) While a lot of us watched as the major players were approved to sell cannabis to Ontarios only legal online retailer of adult-use cannabis, there were some lesser-known names on that list. One was Natural MedCo, which is owned by Eve & Co. The company also recently entered into an MOU with the Government of British Columbia for the distribution of cannabis to the adult-use market. 3.) Although Eve & Co. only has 200k sq. feet under production at the moment, it has already broken ground on an expansion thatll take it to 1 million sq. feet. This should begin at the end of the year and be ready for production by spring. If Eve & Co. does become an acquisition target, that additional 800k sq. feet might give it enough of an edge to push it over the finish line.
