If you scratch the surface a little, it is apparent that a good % of the trades this morning are "Cross trades" of shares fed to ITG Brokerage. 

These crosses are agreed upon transactions to facilitate accumulation for a Buyer. Notice that ITG has purchased 503,000 shares this morning. Below the Brokerage House Positions is another chart showing the activity of ITG in the past month. You will notice in the past month they have accumulated 3.3 Million shares. It looks like the Big Boyz are getting locked and loaded for some future monetary accumulation.
