So? Are they making money? That's the question. And, the answer is yes. Lots of it. 

Frackers are getting (or were until recently) full WTI price. Yet, they're still cash flow negative for the most part. 

Which do you prefer: 

Company A produces items for $15 and sells them for $35

Company B sells their items for $65 but costs run @ $70. 

Your argument is "but company A isn't getting close to $70 pricing so clearly they are inferior"
