RE:My gut tells me - not a chance JF would accept a buy-outYou make it sound like that Fowler would actually have input into the decision if a buyout was on the table. FIRE does not have a poison pill in place, institutions only own 6.3% of the stock. There has been several companies that have been swept away because of a lack of vision by management so don't be so certain that a stink bid could be in the works. The only thing that could save FIRE if a buyout was in place would be if another suitor developed.
