So if Aurora Cannabis spins of Australis, wouldn't that drive the price of Aurora down as is common following a spin-off?

Again, thank for the excellent discussion.

Canadian ACB shareholders are receiving shares of the newly formed Australis on a 34-1 basis.  Own 34 shares of Aurora and get 1 unit of Australis, with the unit being made up of a share and a .25 cent warrant.

US shareholders are receiving cash.  Aurora is transferring those units owned by non canadians to a brokerage, they'll be sold at market and the cash send to the shareholders.

They just completed an over subscribed 17 million dollar raise.  With the warrants executed (which I think is pretty likely at .25), they should have a warchest of about 38 million to go shopping with once.  Looks like they should open up with a mcap of around 23 million (28 million shares to Aurora holders + 85 million shares as part of the PP at .20 a share), but expect that to multiply pretty quickly.
