RE:RE:This game is rigged

RE:RE:This game is rigged It is nice to have a "real" convo instead of YOU WILL ALL DIE themed ones...

I honestly dont agree with the beer compannies wanting big production capacity. Brand is everything. Companies like InBev own very little if any grain and hops production. We do not hear about farmers for beer products, what we hear are the beer brands. Once a brand is established, raw product can be purchased from anyone and packaged under the brand name. I think that up until now, the "big names" have done so well and have been at the forefront, sicne the only possible means of coming up with a valuation has been the KG production capability. Once sales begin to fly, this will not be as important, the amount of pot with your logo on it that consumers want will become whats important in the valuation. I think that HIP is very well positioned to capture this, since this is their biggest focus unlike companies such as Aurora who now own and operate a crazy number of different companies/industries which will make it hard to manage and to be successful at all of them...

I am not sure if any of you have thought of this, but Gord Downie died on Oct 17th last year. It is obviously a huge coincidence (unless Trudeau is a closet Newstrike owner :P) but I am hoping that a tribute concert will be announced soon. Think back to last year when the Hip's final concert not only sold out, but was aired live accorss the country. This is marketing that compnaies can only dream of. It would be epic if a tribute concert could give hip some massive exposure. The news will discuss the "its been a year since..." which is also good for us. All those people who have never tried MJ and decide to do so will more than likely go for the brands they see and hear about, not necessarily the farms. I have no idea what farm makes my eggs, milk, or anything really, but I know my beer brands...
