Great attempt at a reverse arguement!
Look, its this simple...the P.O. happens or it doesnt and it wont...plain and simple...the company, directors and all have failed for years to suceed in any form of business so this is just another attempt at raising money and throwing the ball down field for another dumb idea that someone like Jeff given more resources can be sucessful.
One of the first rules in business is never take a failure and give him more money expecting a different outcome.
Jeff did one amazing thing....pushed out the door a PR on a potential P.O. that never will happen...and wow did he do an amazing job at running the stock.......well beyond his expectations.
No ethical responsible CEO would have issued that press release.
Seems the Board members have been successful in their respective careers - most notably Tony Walton who represented in the entire Western Hemisphere a bank with $660 billion assets. Jeff has at least once CEO'd a major successful enterprise. Many billionaires have experienced multiple failures before finally achieving success so maybe, given a 2nd chance, Jeff can put something together here.
The deal with the distributor was not immediately realizable at the time it was signed but perhaps Jeff believed that he could assemble the production capabilities necessary to make MRS products competitively priced given some lead time. We don't know what his thoughts were.
You're looking back with 40/20 hindsight and seeing that it didn't pan out but you can't truly know what Jeff's intentions or hopes were.
You seem to be a pretty sophisticated guy - a sophisticated guy who believes that MRS is toast. Then why bother bashing? No deal, no more MRS. Why bother bashing? You must think MRS is coming back on or you wouldn't be here. If a smart guy like you thinks MRS will trade again I take comfort. I have assumed that the odds are MRS will never see daylight again but if it does - if it pulls off all that fancy financial footwork - it might have a shot. If it should come back on without closing any of the deals it's back as a nickel stock at best so why bother bashing?
