RE:This company committed suicide 3 to 5 years agoJ, I have to agree with you about the lack of interest in gold by the younger generation - I just read an article in the Globe saying as much, the money is going into cryptocurrency - the new wildwest. The future of NGD seems bleak indeed at this point. If RR keeps being a cash drain instead of a cash generator, where will they get the money to develop Blackwater or buy assets - there are already 550 million shares out there. The mining industry has always been cyclical and only the best run companies have survived (eg Teck) by having the best properties and being very judicious with their cash(not that they haven't made mistakes). New Gold started that way but blew it up on Rainy River - just when they needed a winner. To say they need to regain their mojo is an understatement.
