RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:TO banker gives in situ copper value at $0.026 per poundLooking at the news releases from the time that Exall was developing the property the number of pounds of copper appears to be about 8 billion, BUT, there also appears to be a great deal of what would now be called an Inferred Resource, and that appears over and above this figure. Exall and Bateman Engineering say the ore body is "open at depth and along strike" with "excellent potential to expand the resource base." They also say that the "overall grades are expected to improve to more than 0.4% Cu as more infill drilling is completed and as more information on precious metals contained in the deposit."
So, infill drilling suggests upgrading the inferred to M&I, where it can be included in a resource calc. and mine plan, and open in all those directions suggests other ways to increase the number of pounds of Cu. Increasing the overall grade would add more again. And I'm told reinterpretation of the data by Oroco suggests it could be open to the west as well.
Oroco has calculations of what increase is likely with infill drilling and beyond that, what's possible if ore can be found in the direction that remain open. It's worth talking to them. Fair to say the numbers are much higher than the current 8 billion pounds.
