RE:RE:Activity Cover letter from the pad well licenses. Any reason for concern?
Blackbird Energy Inc. is applying for the above noted well licences and asks that the AER issues a Two-year term for the said licences.
Blackbird has found that a term of one year for a licence is not always sufficient time to execute the drilling of a Montney horizontal well in and around Grande Prairie area of Alberta.
We are affected by economic factors that have slowed cash flow and inhibited the raising of capital. In addition, the drilling of numerous wells from the same padsite along with the corresponding completions can take over a year to complete the operations.
