Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

While that is a great thing because it gives Vic bargaining leverage and therefore favourable terms (bidding war could be possible) it also slows the process down a bit. So, that's why IMHO I do not believe a deal will be announced by Aphria next week. I hope that I am wrong! However, that doesn't mean BNN's story doesn't include Aphria in connection with Diageo, AB inBev/Altria etc on Monday. I suspect though that Coke/Pepsi will be mentioned by BNN as having an interest in ACB. Either way, we go up so it's all good. That being said, I still expect highly catalytic news for APH next week! Congratulations to all true longs that kept faith and didn't sell or get caught offside trying to trade APH this week. I've heard many horror stories lately about people trying to trade APH and getting caught without a position and are now faced with the decision to either buy it back much higher or saying aux revoir to APH forever. I told a good friend of mine last night about the frustration I have over all of this. I said " Do they not get it? They treat this opportunity like it is normal and comes along yearly but it doesn't. It's almost like they think they are entitled to this opportunity forever but guess what. The cannabis space opportunity is a generational play that may never be seen again. Certainly, not a cannabis opportunity anyway! Who's that stupid as to gamble that away and lose a massive opportunity to get taken over by a multinational! An investment opportunity of this magnitude could be the last one they ever see and they pissed it away right before the finish line." I'm not wording it right because I still don't understand their rationale but hey it's their loss and the institutions who bought their shares gain. Very unfortunate! My 2 cents, PROF

Well said, BUT this isn’t a once in a lifetime opportunity. Once the USA decriminalize marijuana that’s your next play at big bucks, and should be 2 years from now, IF trump admin isn’t voted back. Will be bigger and more explosive than Canadian play.
