City Manager - Saskatoon

As a City Manager for ParcelPal, you will be directly responsible for the growth, development, and execution of our new markets. You will be involved in multiple aspects of the business, being directly responsible for finding the right people on your team, managing and improving operations, overseeing local marketing and sales campaigns. The right person for this role should not shy away from unforeseen (and seen!) challenges, have a natural aptitude for people management and the operational grit to get *hit done. What will keep you busy?
Marketing
You will be coordinating with the marketing team on initiatives for your region and as well as expansion into additional areas. As well as working with HQ to ensure brand consistency is maintained and messaging is suitable to your regional market.
HR
As the leader of your cities team, you will develop and maintain day-to-day HR procedures, manage employee/driver schedules, interview potential staff for multiple roles, develop employee programs designed to empower and drive high performance.
Support
As a customer-centric company, you will work with HQ on any customer support inquiries and follow up when necessary for both merchants and consumers if needed. You will facilitate support, training and customer service to our merchant partners.
Operations
Getting things to where they need to be is our number 1 goal. You will work across departmental functionality from marketing, sales, engineering, and dispatchers to drive strategic goals and initiatives. You will oversee all operations within your region. Efficient and supreme customer service drive our entire organization. You will grow, identify, and execute on opportunities, partnerships, and additional delivery verticals. You will be working with marketing to drive order volumes higher but also look for opportunities to lower costs where needed. You will ensure that your team is working to strengthen our service, streamline processes and ultimately improve the way we do things.

2 - 4 years of experience in consulting, strategy, business development, operations, technology, banking, analytics or related experience; high-growth or early-stage start-up experience is a plus
Proven track record of leading initiatives, hitting goals and succeeding in a team environment
Experience building and managing a team of 4-8 people
Excellent Excel skill
Must like to travel.
