Bank--Resolved

Bank--ResolvedFor the last week or so I have been reading a lot of posts regarding difficulties that some members have had with their banking instistutions. Last Thursday it was TD filling orders late and again this past Monday it was TD not filling market orders at all and showing expired at days end. RBC and BMO have also had their problems. (none like RBC and TD last January) I am writing this to let you know that you can fight back and possibly get your situation resolved to your satisfaction. I had market orders filled too high last Thursday and market orders not filled at all on Monday with TD. You saw my compkaints on this board. I went to my local TD bank manager, my TD Wealth manager, and even took it the final step to the TD Ombudsman. The bank manager and wealth manager went to bat for me and before long I was getting calls from TD Direct Investing in Toronto. Bottom line is that yesterday they put $2,720 in my SDRSP for the overcharge last week and then filled my TFSA 3,000 ACB market order from Monday morning at $9.99.(ACB was trading over $12 at the time)
I share this with you as I know that many others had the same experience. Rather than just complain on this board....fight back and good luck
