RE:RE:RE:Article for LT investors to readHey @InternalAudit68 ...glad to hear you're dipping your toes back in and no, no real need to "wonder" about debt when it comes due...
Here are few facts: the vast majority of the junior Co development space is highly speculative indeed and faces huge execution risk from geoliogical & flowsheet design to fiscal modelling to engineering and mine permiting. Then don't forget the even biggers risks being financing, project construction & of course commissioning.
And then you've got to run the mine(s). Those are separate and very special skills in the main void in the junior space.
These issues should present any new develper (and their investors), massive, real concern. At each single stage, for each single elemet, something could come up. Look at Canada's Trans Mountain pipeline fiasco...
But none of these issues face KAT.
KAT is ramping up as we speak and the company - all things being equal - should reach steady state production of around 300kt of Cu and 40kt of Co by the end of next year.
Do you know how decent and sizeable those numbers are? Very respectable indeed.
Yes, we still have to get there, but I believe we will. And at $6,100/t for Cu and $64,000/t Co; do you know how much money that is???
No, "debt servicing" is not a "hot" issue in my humble opinion...
