RE:RE:PokerStars introduces Virtual Reality to PokerThe thing to watch is how Stars is going after gamers in general. They introduced it at Eurogamer, not a gambling event, but rather an event where gamers from around the world gather. Apparently the experience is phenomenal and this is the kind of thing that Stars can use in the USA, across the land, to make a big amount of noise with. The FreetoPlay poker gamers, that currently are the domain of Zynga, will flock to enjoy a PokerStars experience, and that's who they are really targeting. We've seen the launch of new socialplay games and experiences by Stars earlier this year, now the VR version is set to wow...and I have to believe there are plans to do an equally compelling sports betting version. Imagine you are sitting in your seat and you can have a whole bunch of large screens before you with your favourite football, hockey or basketball games before you. Rather than have to play with a remote, you just point your VR headset to the screen you wish to have maximized, then place an in-game bet. Its coming soon...and I would be SKYBET is the one working on it...
